1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Threadlinqs Intelligence, operated by [registered entity name] ("Threadlinqs", "we", "us"), governing your use of threadlinqs.com, intel.threadlinqs.com, the Threadlinqs MCP server, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, clicking "I agree", or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least the age of majority in your province/jurisdiction (and not under 14 in Quebec / 13 elsewhere) to create an account. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. One account per person; automated account creation is prohibited. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Acceptable Use
The Service is for lawful cybersecurity research, threat-intelligence analysis, and detection engineering. You may not: attempt unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure; bypass tier or rate limits; scrape or bulk-extract content for a competing product; resell or commercially redistribute detection rules, IOCs, or data without our written permission; use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; or use any intelligence, IOC, simulation, or detection content to attack, probe, or test systems you are not explicitly authorised to test.
4. Threat-Intelligence Disclaimer
All threats, detections, IOCs, CVE/actor data, debriefs, and analyses are provided for informational purposes only, are compiled in part from publicly available sources, and are not professional security, legal, or financial advice. We make no representation or warranty that any content is accurate, complete, current, or fit for your environment. You are solely responsible for independently verifying information and for any decision or action you take based on it.
5. Attack-Simulation & Detection Content
Attack simulations, detection logic, and offensive-technique descriptions are intended only for use in systems you own or are explicitly authorised in writing to test. Unauthorised access to or interference with computer systems is illegal and may violate, among others, section 342.1 of the Criminal Code of Canada and the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030). You are solely responsible for ensuring you have authorisation, and you agree to indemnify us for any misuse.
6. AI Features
Features such as the Research Lab, TLQL translation, and chat use AI models, including third-party providers, to generate output from your input. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading and must be independently verified. Do not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information to AI features. Your inputs may be transmitted to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. If you use your own provider key (BYOK), you are responsible for compliance with that provider's terms.
7. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged for each renewal. You may cancel at any time from your account billing settings or via the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and there are no cancellation penalties. Where required by law (e.g., British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec), we will provide advance notice before a renewal. Prices may change with prior notice. Except where required by applicable consumer-protection law, fees are non-refundable. [Confirm your refund policy with counsel.]
8. Intellectual Property & License
The Service and its content (reports, detection rules, software, design) are owned by Threadlinqs or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service and to use detection rules and content internally within your organisation for defensive security purposes only. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., research submissions, queries, feedback). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and use that content to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or law. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Copyright Complaints (DMCA / Notice-and-Notice)
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the required details to contact@threadlinqs.com and we will respond in accordance with applicable law (Canada's notice-and-notice regime and, where applicable, the U.S. DMCA).
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threadlinqs and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or security incidents, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CAD $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. This section does not limit your statutory privacy rights (see §15).
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Threadlinqs and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms or any law, or your unauthorised testing or offensive use of any content (see §5).
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
15. Privacy & Data Protection
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference. Nothing in these Terms waives or limits your rights under, or our obligations under, applicable privacy law (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA). Where these Terms conflict with applicable privacy law, the privacy law prevails.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [your province, e.g. Ontario] and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [your province], except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date/version and, where appropriate, notified to you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
19. Contact
